Terms of Use

Eligibility and acceptance

You must be 18 years of age or older to use PinMe Note. During onboarding, you must explicitly confirm that you are at least 18 before the app can be used. By confirming your age and accepting these terms, you agree to follow them whenever you use PinMe Note.

Zero tolerance for abuse

Hate speech, harassment, threats, illegal content, attempts to collect another person's personal information, and attempts to arrange in-person meetups through PinMe are never permitted. Every note is screened on your device before it can be sent. Rule-based screening always runs, with Apple Intelligence screening used when available. Note text is not sent to a server for screening.

Reporting and blocking

You can report any note you receive. Reporting immediately removes that note from your device and blocks the sender's device from reaching you again. You can also block any person visible on your radar directly, whether or not you received a note from them.

Reports reach the developer through the app's in-app Contact option, which provides the support email address. The developer commits to reviewing and acting on reports within 24 hours.

Your control over notes

You can delete any note from your device immediately, at any time. Deleting a note requires no confirmation from the sender, the developer, or anyone else.

Peer-to-peer operation

PinMe is a fully peer-to-peer app with no backend and no account system. Blocking and content removal take effect locally on your own device. There is no central server-side ban list, and a block on your device is not a server-enforced ban across other users' devices. Notes are sent directly between nearby devices rather than through a PinMe server.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change materially, we will update the effective date above and publish the revised terms at this URL. Your continued use of PinMe after updated terms are published means you agree to the revised terms.
